Scripture – “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.”
Proverbs 14:23 NIV
Observation – If you work hard you will be successful, if you spend your days talking about all the things that need to be implemented but don’t do them you will shrug your shoulders on December 31st and blame the economy, high interest rates and AI for your poor year.
Application – Make sure you and your team are focused on the most important tasks for each day. We can be “busy” and worn out by the end of each day but we could have spent the majority of our time on things that don’t support our core business. In order to produce a profit allocate your time towards work that serves your clients and leads to revenue.
Prayer – Lord Jesus, help us to be wise with the time you have blessed us with on this earth and to do a really good job. Amen.
