Scripture – “but my fellow Israelites who went up with me made the hearts of the people melt in fear. I, however, followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly.”
Joshua 14:8 NIV
Observation – Caleb reminded Joshua that when they explored the Promised Land with the ten other spies that he trusted God wholeheartedly while the ten spies brought back a report that made everyone fearful.
Application – There will be a situation soon in your life where God will give you the option to respond in fear or respond with trust and follow him whole heartedly. Both God and fear are calling out to you, which voice will you listen to?
Prayer – Lord, I pray we would all be like Caleb and follow you with all of our hearts, trusting that you have power to do what you have promised. Amen.
