Scripture – “But to the tribe of Levi, Moses had given no inheritance; the Lord, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he promised them.”
Joshua 13:33 NIV
Observation – Eleven tribes were allotted land in the promised land but the tribe of Levi didn’t receive land because God was their inheritance.
Application – God gives as he chooses to give and he does this for a reason. How much of your time is spent praising God for the gifts he has given you versus thinking about what you don’t have? Be grateful and praise the name of the Lord your God!
Prayer – Lord, thank you for all of your good gifts, we are especially grateful you have given us Jesus. Amen.
