Scripture – “By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭24‬-‭26‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Observation -Moses’ faith prompted him to leave the wealth and prestige of the Egyptian palace to be mistreated with God’s people because he knew that eternal rewards were better than temporary earthly rewards.

Application – Does your life reflect an eternal perspective? How does the way you spend your time and money tell God about what you value most?

Prayer – Lord, we have a short amount of time on this earth to prepare for eternity. I pray for every believer, that they would choose to sacrifice this life in order to please you for the next one. Amen.
