Scripture – “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭5‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Observation – King David wrote this psalm. He was so confident that God heard him in the morning that he would lay his requests before him and then he would wait and watch for God to answer his prayers, that day.

Application – Do what King David did and what Jesus instructs us to to in Matthew 7:7-11 ““Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” Some people don’t ask God for anything because they don’t think he will answer them. King David and Jesus says he will. Who are you going to trust, yourself or King David and Jesus.

Prayer – Lord, forgive me for not asking you for everything. You are good and I believe it. Amen.
