Scripture – ““I will set a sign among them, and I will send some of those who survive to the nations—to Tarshish, to the Libyans and Lydians (famous as archers), to Tubal and Greece, and to the distant islands that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. They will proclaim my glory among the nations.”
Isaiah 66:19 NIV
Observation – “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.””
Matthew 28:18-20 NIV. Isaiah prophesied the Great Commission seven hundred years before Jesus commanded his followers to make disciples of all nations.
Application – Who are you praying for to accept Jesus? Are you sharing the Gospel with your friends, family and neighbors? “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” Romans 10:14 NIV. If you aren’t sharing the Gospel please pray and ask God to help you. He will. Search.org has great resources for reaching the lost.
Prayer – Lord, I pray that every believer would obey you so the whole world can know you and experience your care for them. Amen.
