Scripture – “You have many workers: stonecutters, masons and carpenters, as well as those skilled in every kind of work in gold and silver, bronze and iron—craftsmen beyond number. Now begin the work, and the Lord be with you.””
1 Chronicles 22:15-16 NIV
Observation – David made preparations for Solomon to build God’s temple. Once the project was organized David instructed Solomon to begin the work and blessed him.
Application – As Jesus says in Ecclesiastes, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:” There is a time to plan and a time to execute. If God has put something on your heart to do, do it! Nothing happens until someone does something. Don’t let the plans that God has placed on your heart die there, as James Brown says, “Get up offa that thing!” Let’s Go!!!
Prayer – Lord, you didn’t put us on this earth to consume but to create, we aren’t here to only dream but to do. The righteous man may fall seven times but he gets back up again. Lord, I pray that you create discontent in the hearts and souls of your followers to move them towards the good works you have prepared in advance for them to do.
