Scripture – “A man who lacks judgement derides his neighbor but a man of understanding holds his tongue.”
Proverbs 11:9 NIV
Observation – If you lack judgement you will talk about people negatively behind their back and slander them. If you are wise you will keep your mouth shut.
Application – If you have a problem with someone you can do one of three things; talk to God, talk directly with that person or keep it to yourself. God is displeased when you gossip and slander.
Prayer – Lord, this is important to you, I pray your followers would honor you by obeying all of your commands.
