Scripture – “I myself have selected your fellow Levites from among the Israelites as a gift to you, dedicated to the Lord to do the work at the tent of meeting. But only you and your sons may serve as priests in connection with everything at the altar and inside the curtain. I am giving you the service of the priesthood as a gift. Anyone else who comes near the sanctuary is to be put to death.””

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭18‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Observation – God is telling Aaron that he gave the Levites to Aaron as a gift to do the work at the tent of meeting and that he gave Aaron the service of the priesthood as a gift.

Application – Do you view the people you work with each day as a gift from God? Do you look at your job as a gift from God? How can you view the people you work with differently so that your attitude towards them moves towards gratitude. What would need to change for you to look at your work as a gift from God, not just the compensation but the entire experience?

Prayer – Dear God, I pray for people that don’t like what they do and who they work with. I pray you would help them find goodness and joy in their effort of serving their fellow employees and clients. Amen.
