Scripture – “yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭8‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Observation – Two of the three members of the trinity are mentioned in this verse and both are given crédit for the creation of the universe. Paul acknowledges that the Father and Son are our lives, we live through them.

Application – Worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as the one true God. There is one “what” that is God, there are three “who’s”, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The relationship between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit make up who God is. Christians worship one God revealed through the relationship between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Prayer – Dear God, thank you for making yourself known to us through the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I thank you that we don’t have to wonder how we got here, what our purpose is on the planet and where we are going. Amen.
