Scripture – “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Observation – When a person proclaims faith in Jesus they have peace with God because they have been honest with God about their sin and have acknowledged that he has the power to forgive them.

Application – When we experience peace with God, others or ourselves everything is free and open. We don’t have an ulterior motive in the relationship and we don’t have to worry that the God or the other person doesn’t have our best interests at heart. We can enjoy each other, challenge and be challenged and speak truth because love is the foundation of our relationship.  This is the place you want to be with God, others and yourself.

Prayer – Lord Jesus, thank you for dying for us so we can be forgiven and have peace with our Father through you. Lord I pray for me and my brothers and sisters that we would be honest in our relationship with you so that separation doesn’t not occur with leads to no peace. Amen.
